I added a bit of background and some lines.
I've also played a bit with a Kinect version.

Urchin test video
I have modified my model to create this angry urchin. I'm quite satisfied with the result for a Quartz Composition. I'm still having the problem with recording screen output from QC. It is very laggy. My real FPS is just fine, so I'm not sure what could be the cause...

New texture
I've found out a way how to do a bit of 'mapping' on my .objs. It is very limited, but I can do some of the positioning. Thanks to Kineme3d texture transform patch.
This is my new texture:
I've also managed to fake some highlights by using alpha change. I.e. when object goes a bit transparent, it looks like reflection. It works considerably ok.

Compositions
For some reason, I'm starting to like my compositions. I've watched quite a few tutorials and Quartz Composer seems to be making a bit more sense.
I've learned some new techniques to work with my 3d objects. Especially useful is patch to replicate content in 3d space. This way I can load much more objects without need to use some sort of itinerations.
I've also found out I'm obsessed with straight lines. Messy curves in compositions are wrong.

Brainstorming
I thinking of some new ways to incorporate my already working concept. Here are some of my sketches.

Object sketch
I'm still trying to figure out how to present the whole thing. I was trying to sketch my final audio-reactive object and came with something like this:
I am also trying to figure out how to constantly reload .obj file in quartz composer. And it's proving to be rather difficult. I'll give a bit more time and if I won't be able to do it, I'll just use the regular deformations in Kineme3d kit. It will be a bit messier, but overall it should work similar to my sketch if I use 3 object instead of just one.
